The auto clean technology plate glides so nicely over your fabrics giving a really smooth, crease free finish.

There are many steam outlets on the soleplate which outputs 180g/min of continuous steam and tackles creases in no time. There was no need to go over the same area of fabric multiple times, and I even found that I only had to iron one side of my shirt sleeves. There is a steam boost button that jets out 580g/min of steam per minute making ironing stubborn creases or those thicker fabrics such as jeans a swift and easy job.

Once switched on it only takes two minutes to heat up to the desired heat setting. I particularly like that is has an auto shut off function safely ensuring that the unit switches off after eight minutes if left unattended. There are four heat options to select; Delicate, Normal and Max as well as Eco for energy-saving efficiency.

The fact you can use the iron as a vertical steamer is very useful, especially for freshening up jackets that might have been hanging in the wardrobe for a long period of time.

The water tank slides out so you can easily refill at the sink and holds 1.9L of water saving you from having to continuously refill. The built in anti-calc component has to be cleaned regularly to help prolong the lifespan of the unit, all you need to do is unscrew it with your hand and rinse it under warm water. So easy.

When you have finished ironing you can neatly wrap the cables around the base which is really safe and tidy. There is a safety lock system that just clicks over the tip of the iron to keep it safe on the base which also makes it easier to lift and store away.

I would highly recommend the Tefal Pro Express Ultimate Steam Generator Iron to anyone that has ample laundry to work through, particularly anyone who has a large family to cater for and little time on their hands!”
